He is the CEO and Founder of mtm choice worldwide, a boutique organization of professional practitioners that specialises in high-precision brand building and media optimization. Market-enabling technology enables mtm agencies to assist brands in excelling at the “moments that count” for their customers and users.
Before joining mtm, Alexei Orlov worked at DAS, an international business of Omnicom Group, as a Senior Advisor to the CEO and Chairman. Before joining DAS, he was the Global CEO of RAPP, where he supervised a dramatic turnaround and a successful rebranding campaign that attracted new management and leadership expertise.
Alexei was previously the Global Brand Communications Director for Volvo Cars and the Marketing Director for Volvo UK, the Volvo Corporation’s second-largest national sales firm at the time. Alexei was the company’s junior executive, serving as Marketing Director of Avon Cosmetics Retail (Europe). He was a founder partner of the extremely successful Paperchase Retail Group at the start of his career, which instilled in him a passion for brand stewardship that he still has today.
He has received various important prizes and distinctions throughout his career. Alexei was named CMO of the Year / ASEAN by the World Brand Congress in 2012 and 2013. Alexei and his Proximity team won a Cannes Gold Lion Award in 2013 for their effort on the People’s Car Project, the world’s largest automobile social media site, with 28 million users and 108 million YouKu followers.
